I got my 2001 honda painted yellow and no not spa yellow but Indy yellow with a little extra pearl in it. But the paint job was not by choice. It all started with getting the amuse lip and a set of eyelids painted to match my oringinal spa yellow but they could not get it to match any one else have this problem

ya i would like too see pics, but don't you think you went a little over board, i mean painting a whole car for a lip and eyelids?

 

yeah, post some pics or have someone here do it....I'd love to see it with the extra pearl in it..very curious as to how it looks.

In Australia our standard Honda yellow is called 'Indy Yellow' - my understanding was that this is exactly the same colour as the US market's Spa Yellow.

Exactly what I was thinking.

 

I got the paint job fairly cheap because i did not agree to paint the whole car. It does look good and im happy with it because it is a 01 so now it looks brand new again. which is cool. Personaly i think it looks a little lighter than the spa yellow but maye it is the same im not sure... i just know that the name is supposed to be spa yellow and when we looked in the ppg book it said indy yellow... but if the painter doesnt have great experience its hard to match paint that has pearl in it. I want to wait till i get my wheels on before i take pics but i will post them,, i got a set of 19' axis mod sevens man there hot!!!
