Default Got my 2005 S2000 Tonight

I just traded in my Blue 2005 Civic Si HB for a Red 2005 S2000. I have driven one a few times before, but man what a car. A friend of mine that respects the car but would likely never own a Honda, loves it. The car had 16.4 miles on it when I drove it off the lot.

My Car history:
2005 S2000
2005 Civic Si HB
2002 WRX sedan
2000 Civic EX coupe
1987 Accord LX sedan
several old domestic sedans
etc...

Thanks. Yeah, it was a really good decision on my part, but I still can not believe I bought it. I think I need to pinch myself or go drive it. Too bad it is 2:15am here on the east coast and I am tired as all get out.

If you are interested, here are some photos I have taken of various stuff over the last few years with my Nikon D100.

Congrats

Trading one 05 for another 05? Why such a quick turn-around? You musta got killed by depreciation.

Yeah, were there problems with the HB or did you just decide you wanted a car with a bit different focus?

Let's see:
THe Porsche 911 GT3 cup car photo was taken at CMP (Carolina Motorsports Park in Kershaw SC) during a PCA DE, and the driver is the President of PCA NA (Porsche Club of America North America). The shot was taken with a D100 and a Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8VR lens and I believe it is between turns 1 & 2 or 2 & 3 (more likely 1& 2).

I did get hurt a little on depreciation, but I was not upside down in the car by any means. When I traded my WRX in for the Si, they seriously wanted to sell the Si. It had been sitting on there lot for over 8 months and had been sitting in the back of the lot most of the time. It only had 27 miles on it when I bought it, because it never got test driven. So, I got several $1k more for my WRX than I thought I would.

No problems with the Si except maybe the EPS had serious resistance at idle doing K turns. Crossing over the center of where the steering wheel goes it felt like there was no power steering at all. This happened about 50% of the time in these situations and if I would havve kept the car I would have had it looked at. BUt, I got the S2000 because I just really wanted teh car and can afford it.

I have photos I took today, but I just upgraded my HDD in my laptop from 30GB to 100GB and I just reinstalled the OS. Once I get Photoshop CS, Nikon View and Nikon Capture installed, I can edit the pics and upload them.
