Default Got my Blue '02 yesterday !

It is sooooooooooo nice. The color is awesome. For those who have any doubts about the blue, you have to see it. The paint is very metallic, in the sun, it litterally glitters, at sunset, it starts showing nice deeper hues.

I put 150 miles driving it back from the dealership. Kept varying the RPMs, stopped many times to let it rest, take some pictures and go through all the gears again.

Almost everything about the car is better than I thought it would be. This is my first convertible, so I was worried about storage space, noise at high speed with the down and so on... but it's quite roomy, the trunk is MUCH bigger than I remembered it and I love cruising top down at 75. The radio is not bad either.

The transmission seems more notchy than when I test drove the '01 though, but I noticed the shifts are smoother at higher RPMs (max 5500 for me). I also find my engine is not running extra smooth either, but I guess it will improve throughout the break-in period.

I first saw the S2000 at my local dealership about three years ago when it was unveiled. This dream was long in the making, but it was all worth it!!!

Congrats and may you always have a big every time you drive it. Just remember to constantly check your oil level and (I know you know this) no VTEC until after 600 miles. Have a good life.

We almost bought a Suzuka Blue. If the dealer hadn't tacked on a couple options we didn't want (spoiler and cargo net) we might be driving it today instead of our New Formula Red (which we love).
The Blue indeed changes color from every angle and you gotta love that blue leather!
Welcome to the club. You'll find yourself looking at the car and saying "I can't believe it's mine"...but it is!

Welcome S2K02. I'm sure we'll see each other cruisin' 880 or 101 soon. Glad to hear of another Suzuka Blue close by.

Congrats on the new baby...That feeling stays with you a long time, enjoy!
You can now change your login to owner if you go to MY2000 and change your profile. You have to give you VIN to do this.
Happy Driving

Sounds great. I have a few more weeks until I get mine. No VIN yet but I should be getting that any day. I agree with you on the blue. Definitely have to see it in person, pictures don't do it justice.
