I got my console cover yesterday and let it "straighten itself out" overnight. Installed it this morning. It looks GREAT!! The only problem I had was getting the backing off the double-sided tape. With a little work it finally came off. It was really easy to install. Thanks Rick for all your work.

i installed mine today as well.
1st piece of advice: if you have the factory alarm, with the light on the center console, there is a plug connector hidden under the tunnel, look for it and disconect it. I installed the leather shift boot with the panel in place and it was a pain.
2nd: my tunnel cover's passenger side flap did not quite reach under the plastic cover up front so it kind of dangles out.
Overall it looks awsome and makes the car look much more sophisticated.
Good job Rick H.!!!!

I too installed mine today along with the black emblem kit. I guess, it was my cars "Day of Beauty" to celebrate it's birthday (it was build on the 18th of last year and these were it's birthday presents).

Rick, you Rock. This is the single greatest improvement that can be made to the looks of the car. You should patent the idea and get honda to make it an option.

I almost feel like I should send you some more money...I said almost

Got mine yesterday too. I got in at 10:00pm and decided I didn't wanna wait till today to install it so I installed it (along with the shift boot) last night.

I must agree that the console cover was much easier to install than the shift boot.

Anyways, looks great, Rick!! Well worth the price. This is how they should come from the factory.

I'm looking forward to installing mine, too. Any idea when it might arrive? Has it been shipped yet. I'm very anxious.

Frank,

If the cover doesn't fit under the plastic pieces on both sides of the transimission tunnel, it means you positioned it a bit too far toward the rear. If you move it forward a bit, it should be ok.

You should be able to pull it up and reposition it without replacing the tape. If not, let me know and I'll send you some new pieces of tape.

I don't know Rick, the driver's side was good, only the passennger was short. It was pretty far up, so much so that i had to extend some of the slotts for the clips a bit to the back. Also the back of the cover had about 1/2inch space between it and the two screws/clips that secure the rear compartment.
I't OK as is, Don't worry, if it starts lifting up, i'll ask for some more tape to reposition it then.

Frank,

I want you to be satisfied. If you're not, return the cover and I'll replace it.
