I was waiting on a Silver/Black #666 but today I went to the dealer and they had a Spa Yellow #1097...well needless to say I took it home. It rocks!

Congrats! I'm not sure the yellow is a better color (I'm biased, but I do like the yellow), but that has got to be a better number!

I liked the old number too, but maybe there would have been a curse attached to that one! Congrats on the yellow!

Well SomethingWicked

I used to (until today) drive a 99 Honda Civic SI EBP. It was cool but wasn't what I really wanted. My first new car was a 1994 Acura Integra GS-R, I did the standard Mods I,H,E suspension, rims, etc..Then I sold it in 1998 and got a 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX I added an intake and exhaust to it...liked it al ot then it got hit and later broken into...Then I sold it and got the Si. After driving FWD sports coupes for 7 years I decided I wanted a real sports car. At first I wanted a 97+ plus Corvette but the insurance was too much $6000 a year. Then I looked at the Camaro SS but the quality sucked and the insurance was high and my fiance hated it. I fiqured after having three Hondas I thought I should check out the S2k...It was love at first drive and well here I am today.

How is the S2000 different? Well I can't drive it now because it is 35 degrees outside and raining (thats different). I had test driven a 2000 S2k several times and revved the hell outta it, so I know in 569 more miles I will be having fun . The car is just plain awesome. The handling the looks everything. Oh you guys are correct about the cold and these tires I came around a 45 degree bend at about 40 and the tail slide pretty easily...but very catchable. I will prepare a better comparison after I get some more miles under my belt.
