It's true -- even though we have a good color match at Fall Colors, we will not make another run of blue badges. The reason is simple -- we had a total of seven paid orders and were facing thousands of dollars in production costs -- for both the new run and the run with the poor color match.

In short, we were going to lose our shirts, with no chance of ever selling enough blue badges to recover the costs. So we decided to quit before we got behind even further

All our other badge colors will continue to be produced. People who ordered blue have been offered a full refund or replacement with something else from our line.

 

Hmmm. Maybe you've lost my addy? I haven't been offered any refund yet, that I can remember. I thought we had 15 paid orders, which I thought was the requirement to run the first batch?

Yes, we had fifteen original orders, but some bailed out when the first color match was off.

 

I did not get the email. But either way I'll take the refund.

We're getting our front lip molded onto the front bumper over the winter and we'll just get the "H" shaved off instead.
