Default Got a quick question

I don't see any stupidity in this question, so please don't flame. But why do people blur out their license plates? Is it for security reasons of some sort, or what? When I post my pics (after KG/MM DRC21 Race Springs, and stock wheels get powder coated gunmetal) Ill be sure not to blur out my plate. Im fretty fu***n proud of it! Lol.

because if you post pics of your car and the licese plates are not blurred, if someone likes your car, they will hunt you down, kill you, and then steal your car

So they won't reflect radar or laser.
So they won't cause turbulence at high speed.
'Cause they have extra lambskin from covering the seats and need a spot for it.
'Cause they drive in the snow and it just accumulates there.
'Cause it says something obscene and they don't want their mom to see it.
'Cause they've copied it from someone else and he might sue for copyright violation.
'Cause they work for Al Queada and they don't want the F.B.I. on their tale.
'Cause they just got a brand new verion of Photoshop and they forgot to turn off the "blur license plate number/blur prison I.D. number" filter.

A motorcycle trailer and, from time to time, a 600 lb Honda Rubicon.
