First of all, I have heard that the 2000 model has been recalled for transmission problem. But I have done a check.. it is only for seat belt retractor and spark plugs seals or something. Dont' see any recall for transmission.

Thanks,

There is no recall for the transmission or clutch. A TSB is not a recall.

I've had my S2000 for more than four years now and the only recall items were for the seat belt and the boot cover, which was replaced with one that let the seatbelt move when the seat was all the way back.

Besides that, I had them replace the 2nd gear synchros when they had the transmission out to fix a problem with a bent shift fork in 5th gear, all under warranty, and they put a new rear window in for me for free as a goodwill gesture, since mine got all scratched from making contact with an outside edge when fully retracted. The dealer stopped doing free window upgrades, though, and I've been careful to put padding in place every time I lower the top since then.

Thank you for all the answers. I bet my car can't go in and get it fixed for free. Coz it's 2000 model. Any hope?

Ahh... what's wrong with it that you need to get it fixed? Just because there's a TSB for problem XYZ doesn't necessarily mean it's a problem on your car.

Mine is a 2000... it's got the clutch rattle. Out of warranty, so I'm screwed. Oh well, I'll live with it. The good news is you can't hear it when the top is down.

Take your car to your local Honda dealer and ask. I belive that "TSB's" are taken care of and no charge to the customer not matter how many years old the car is. At least this was the case when i worked at a local Porsche/Audi dealer

I think that the two chicks in your avatar are good luck charms that are warding off mechanical difficulties.
