Almost 10 year old S2000 design + declining economy= S2000 CR will sell at MSRP or under.

Anyone who pays more than MSRP is an idiot; regardless of make or model

It looks pretty good, I actually thought that it would look retarded with GPW. The CR is growning on me, slowly but front lip is too much for me though.

The price is a lot more than I would pay for a S2.

with the slowing economy and due to the fact that s2000 cr is design for the hardcore. I was thinking about buying the gpw s2000 cr for my collection but the only thing that bothers me the most is the sensor and stupid hump on the passenger side. Which makes it imposssible to use backyard special or aftermarket seat rails. I disagree with the statement "Any one who pays more than MSRP is an idiot; regardless of make and model". When the s2000 came out in late 1999 as 2000 model, many dealers were getting $4000+ above the MSRP. That was due to supply and demand. I do not think these individuals are idiot, they are celebrated collectors and/or proud owers. No prices are high for these people if they think it is worth the price. My mentor DR. Wilson had to pay $$$ above the MSRP for his Ferrari 360. Also, some of my friends in the health fields paying big $$$ above the MSRP for Porsches and BMW M3.

G-damn.....that is ugly!

I remember seeing my S on the showroom floor and that it was the deciding factor on whether or not to get it. It looked simply gorgeous. (AP2 Silverstone with OEM Lip, strakes and spoiler).

If I had gone to the show room and saw the CR, I would have shook my head and went to the Lotus dealer..
