I wouldn't. Touch up paint is notorious for not matching.

Sometimes yes and sometimes no. Even better would be to just have the color code for the paint (you can read off of the inside of the door near the gas cap I think). There should be a thread on this board also that lists out the paint codes

The paint code is easy to find, and as I said before, any good paint shop would be able to mix up a batch of paint that matches that code. But the problem the OP is trying to solve is not to match the paint code, he is trying to match the color of his car -- a car that is several years old. The best bet would be to take his car down to the paint shop and have them match it (given the car, they can find the paint code). All paint must be "adjusted" to match the color of the car if it has faded.
