Also, Carfax shows accident on the Nismo Z. But it seems like a lot of the cars from EMG dealership have history of accidents with an occasional stolen vehicle, but they have some very nice 1 owner cars for sale too.

Rosairo, our official Honda salesman, will give u the 411 on KBB book values.
When I say "GPW premium", I'm not talking $1-2k above what other S2k's cost. I'm talking $3-5k over other comparable S2k's are selling for.
Take that 2008 Rio Yellow above.in the link and picture it GPW. A seller on S2ki would want $29k for it, without hardtop.
The seller of the Rio Yellow is asking $27.9 w/ hardtop. Buy the car and sell the hardtop for $3500 and u know have a 2008 S2k for $24.5. I shouldn't even be saying this, since we have some S2000 flippers for profit on S2ki.
WE KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!!!
For the people who clicked "yes", you'll pay the GPW premium, will u pay $21.8k for this 2003 GPW with 45k miles, when u can buy a NFR or a Spa for $15.5k same miles condition??

Or you'll pay $20k for this 2002 GPW with 50k miles:

U can easily find other colors (pick one) for a $4k or $5k savings. This is what I mean by the GPW premium. That 2002 is nice, if the miles were in the low to mid 20's....

GPW is a classic honda color, if u got the money go ahead and get it, if not be patient and keep looking. You don't ever want to get a color u don't absolutely love. You'll be kicking yourseft in the butt when a GPW pulls up next to you lol!
I want to sell my Silverstone w/OEM hardtop, but its such a big price difference jumping.into a 2006 GPW. My car without the Hardtop (67k miles) , I can only get $13.5 MAX for it
. Meanwhile a 2006 GPW with 50k or under Is going to be $20-22k on average. We are talking $7 to $8k more. And there is a HIGH chance, my car is cleaner.
So yes, I'm kind of "hating". I'll admit it.
It's well documented that S2000 resale is really strong right now, especially on low mileage 06+. The biggest reason is that it's hard to replace a S2000 at any price point, let alone under $30k. People are willing to pay a premium for a nearly new car that is no longer in production.
If your car is really clean then I think you can get more than $13.5k. Are you willing to part with the hardtop? I sold mine and it will make up a large chunk of the difference, very easy to sell for around $3k. Again, patience is going to be necessary. It may not be possible, but I would have cash/financing ready to go. You will be kicking yourself if the right car comes along and you have to say "I want to buy your car but I have to sell mine first, can you hold it for me?" This happened to me 2.5 years ago on a Laguna Blue, sold before I could sell mine and I wasn't going to let it happen again. This time around I had 2 S2000's for a short amount of time, luckily my AP1 sold fast.

I've got a 07 GPW and I paid a premium for the car, not because I wanted white but because I wanted low miles and no accidents. Part of the premium was the color and part was the miles... I agree you shouldn't be paying 5k more just for the color but the reality is you'll likely pay 2k to 3k more for a GPW than anything else. I paid 23k for my 07 with 35k miles and it had small tares in the normal soft top spots as well as a few rear bumper scratches... but after 3 months of looking at cars and having people lie to me about accidents I picked up the cleanest I could find and paid a premium for it.
I also own a '07 GPW and paid about 1-2k more than I should have but I wanted GPW. Meaning it was about 1-2k more than other '07 S2Ks with similar mileage I looked at. You have to realize that those are just asking prices listed in the above examples. I bought mine for about $4k lower than the asking price. While we were finalizing the sale he still had people calling him outbidding me but he kept to his word and sold it to me. He said most callers were from out of state which shows that there is demand for S2Ks, maybe more so for GPWs? But higher demand, lower production numbers and the fact that they are no longer in production will definitely mean higher pricing. I think these cars in general may start holding or gaining value in the near future (as long as low miles and stock).
