Default Grease spot on wheels? what could it be from?

Hey guys, well after taking off my stock wheels to put some aftermarkets on, I notice this

Now I have no idea what its from? it could be from me cleaning the wheel well or something but I couldnt imagine it being so greasy, could it be brake or shock fluid??

Im just worried about the paint on my new wheels if this happens to be brake fluid! ill have to keep checking them out but is there anything I should look for?

grease from the CV boot?? are you lowered? check the boot for tears or leaks, but usually grease from the cv boot leaves a thick black smear and not so much what your pic shows.

idk it looks just like....goo. Like syrup dripped on the inside of my wheel lol.

I dunno, if nobody else has this problem the more I think it was just from cleaning my wheel well, maybe the dressing or the soap I used or something possibly. Because I dont know why it would only happen once. in one spot.
