Default great day...terrible night

I was gonna post a topic saying how great my car was running today. I almost called Airgate just to say my car was running unbelievably. It just pulled awesome. So I drive into the car wash to shine it up before the races. As I'm dryin' it off I notice something shiney on my right rear tire. Nail. Damnit. Go over to my buddies house and while I'm looking a little closer I see ANOTHER one! Damnit again!! Ok over to mommy dearest cause she's right around the corner and take the rim off. OK Four God d@mn nails in one tire. I'm pissed. I'm over it. I'm sick of the 17s anyway. They are officially for sale. I guess I'll be holding off on the intake and exhaust and I'm looking for some new rims. these are my old ones:

for sale. 800 bucks with tires.
Anyway, I'm thinking CP-035s, Motegi Formula 5s, TE-37s, or maybe CP-10s. Opinions? I need to know widths and offsets and pics would be appreciated too. Thanks guys.

they are 17 by 7.5 all the way around. 215 front and 235 rear yokohama A-520s. I just put the damn rear tires on 3 days ago. Now I got 3 holes in one of 'em (one nail didn't go all the way through). I don't remember the offsets off hand

Are you sure you weren't a victim of sabotage? In which case - the wheel size would not matter.

Four nails in one tyre sounds VERY suspicious!

I'm sure some little sh!t threw a bunch of nails somewhere around the car wash. I know it's not the rims fault. This is just my excuse to get some new rims.

How heavy are the rims w/o tires? I am assuming heavier than stock?

coulda been worse, last year I blew two tires in one incident! At least you only have to replace one tire...imagine if the four nails EACH picked a different tire!

Still, sorry to hear about that tho, especially on new tires. I now get road wear warranties on my tires so if such a thing happens, I pretty much get a new one for really cheap. had to replace a Dunlop SP9000 (retail $150 approx) on my Acura a few months ago and it cost me $10.
