Default The great spring question. Eibach, KG/MM, or H&R ?

Gonna be dropping the S when I get it. Have the Eibach prokit on my civic now, and love it. But I've heard great things about the other 2 brands. So...post your pics with these springs, and state your opinions, please.

Thanks!

Wow...aren't those .75 front, .60 rear drop? That looks pretty low for that...very nice. How is the ride?

Koni shocks-KG/MM Super Sports.

Ride is better than stock. Turn in is great. Handling is fantastic. The only problem I have had is that I can not get less than -2.0 deg of rear camber with this set up. I have the Konis set on the bottom perch. This gives about 1/2 in of drop and the springs give about .7 in drop.

I think the improvements are mostly because of the Koni shocks though. They are fabulous. I wouldn't do the springs without doing the shocks also.

Hey darkknight,

You have one of the nicest S' I've seen...

A couple of questions about your setup - (1) Are you running with stock shocks, and (2), how would you compare the ride to stock?

My apologies if you've answered these questions a 1,000 times before...

Thanks!

Thank you kindly. :tips hat:

Yes I do run with stock shocks, and I feel the ride is pretty much the same as stock. The ride is a little stiffer but I feel that its due to the 18's not the springs.

Sleepy,

The stock shocks have a fairly stiff compression. This is what affects how the car rides. I don't believe changing springs is going to affect the ride much.
