Since I live in Texas, the sun is pretty intense. I have been debating whether or not to tint my windows in order to protect the interior of the car. I realize that this is a convertible, and the interior gets baked anyway when the top is down, but when I park it at work for 9 or so hours a day, I always put the top up. I have read all of the talk here about tinting the rear window, and have decided that I don't think I want to attemp that. So, for all of you who have tinted the side windows only, do you have any pics? Also, does it look funny from inside the car? Would you do it again?

 

I like mine and would do it aagin!!



Although the picture looks like I've tinted the front I haven't. A local shop did this for about 100 buck and it meets all the local regs.

Mine were tinted by the previous owner. It looks OK and keeps the sun off you under the right circumstances, but I almost never drive with the windows up. I have no negative experience with the tint so I'd say do it if you like that kind of thing. Just don't make it so dark you can't see out at night.

 

Anyone have any pics of a silver S2K with tint? I'm really leaning towards having this done. My '92 pickup has the windows tinted, and the interior hasn't faded at all.
