Default greddy e-manage worth it?

Hey guys ive heard you can get at least a good 9whp with either of these tuning devices, a little more with e-manage ive heard but im wondering the e-manage is about twice as much with installation, will the gains be worth it on a stock s2k?

mines stock right now but i do plan on getting exhaust, intake and gears, i know the e-manage will be much better with FI or fully built engine but on a lightly modded or stock s2k would i just be better off saving the money and getting the VAFC? some guy told me he gained 14whp and 16wtq after being tuned with e-manage but i wasnt sure of what else he had done to the car.

The Emanage is definitely a better unit. VAFC got a COOL display but it has very limited tunability.

The Emanage, you can tune the map by the number of % that your throttle opens and you can change the rev limiter and timing as well so I will rate this as a way advance system than VAFC.

Well, interestingly enough...just this weekend our local tuning guru tuned an eMU on an ap2. I was surprised that the gains were almost the same as those seen on an MY02 ap1 that was only using a vafc2 tuned on the same dyno by same tuner 2 weeks earlier.

Based on that...I would have to say that the vafc is pretty good bang for the buck.
