Default Grille Tech Grill Fit Problem??

Did any of you guys/gals who have the grille tech s2000 center grill have a hard time getting it to fit?
It seems to be to big to fit flush up against the grill slats. I tried to force it up against the slats but it proved to be near impossible.

Thanks,
Jordan

I didn't have any problems installing my grill.... Nice grill at a reasonable price!

Airsport,do the two small side grilles on the nose go over the black plastic or did you cut it out?

They go over the plastic. I did use a 2 1/2 or 1/4" hole saw to open up the black plastic inserts leaving enough material to screw the grill tech inserts to.

Hey Airsport can you post a pic or two of your center grill?

Did you have to really jam it in there? Did you use the plastic zip ties to secure it in?

Thanks,
Jordan

The grill was a tight fit and yes I used the ties. I don't have a photo handy that shows the grill clearly. Sorry..

I have the Grille-tech grille, and I had to "dremel" off about an 1/8 of an inch off the top and reround the top corners a little. But I also didn't use the tie-wraps. I custom fit mine on while I had my front bumper clearing my headlights.

Anim,I've been E-mailing someone at Grille-Tech named Kristine asking if she's got any info about S2000 owners saying grilles don't fit in some cases. She said she will notify the owners of the company and get back to me.Have you heard anything from them?
