Thumbs up Grinding 3rd

I heard a rumor that there was a re-call on the earlier ap1's for cincros in the tranny. Does anyone know if this is true or not, and what the details are on it, if it is true?

I had the same issues, only after my tranny got hot and only if I shit pass 6k rpm. I replaced my AP1 with another used AP1 tranny. It doesn't happen as often, actually It's probably ony happened 6 times. I have recently tracked it and my instructor did notice a grind, but I did not.

I had a "grinding/notchy" feeling before I tried the GM SynchroMesh FM. Shifting is alot smoother now.
