Default guage cluster question

On the AP2 guage cluster there is a small circle that I've never seen lit up. It's between the trip odometer and the high beam indicator. Is it a warning light of some sort or nothing at all? I looked in the owner's manual and it's shown, but not labeled.

TIA

I could be totally wrong, but I think it's a light sensor.

Well, there was no CR in 2007, so I think alarm warning light might be the right answer. I don't have the alarm, so that could be why it never does anything.

I believe you are correct because mine didn't come with an alarm either(had one installed aftermarket). I don't think they had the CR in mind back in '04 when they redesigned the guage cluster for the ap2+.

I'm not able to post pictures. It's a small green unlit circle about 1/2 inch to the right of the trip odometer and just to the left of the high beam indicator. You can see it when light hits the cluster.
