I could probably give a guesstimate at the speed, but then again, I was more concerned in taking a quality picture of Mark than noting the speed we were going!

Is the car okay? What are you guys doing? Don't put that beautiful S2000 in danger!

All along I've said those Texas guys are just plain CRAZY!!!! Must be all that sun beating down on their heads.

If they were moving, the only way they could have known their speed, would be to have the first car on cruise control. No person in their right mind would look down at their speedo if they were that close together. But then again..... they are Texans....

I see somebody hasn't gone on a hill country drive in awhile and is trying to bring back memories by searching through old pictures. ... me too Mark... I miss the good old days. Heck I miss my car. I went on a hill country drive with Jeff (Scuba driver) in a miata I was test driving (those nuts up at Roger Beasly Mazda gave me a brand new miata to test drive for a weekend... needless to say, I put over three hundred fun filled miles on that car all in the hill country, all in one weekend) anyways, Jeff and I went for a last minute drive, and I couldn't wipe the smile off my face.

That pic was taken so long ago I can't remember exactly how fast they/ we were going, or what road that is.
Is that 281?

But for all you people who are guessing 0, or 20- 30, or even 50... I'll just say you're too low .

Since the picture was taken from the drivers seat... And there's no motion blur... I'de say they were stopped, waiting for the others to catch up.
Then resume the nutty speeds :-)

p.s. My car has been in the shop getting prettied up, not sitting in the garage.

Allright...

First of all, this is not a trick question. We were going ~70mph when Schatten clicked off the picture. We actually did this several times but this was the best picture. No cruise control was used during the making of this picture. Schatten just held his speed and I snuck up behind him. Simple really. And like I said before, is it really stupid if you don't die and don't get caught?

I miss our hill country drives.

Mark

P.S. - If you think this is stupid, you should see the things we didn't take pictures of!!
