Hi all you lurkers. Welcome and enjoy. I would like to ask a favor of you all and please take a moment to register with us. It makes a big difference statistically and helps with those sponsorships. The registration info is quite anonymous and you will never receive unsolicited mail from anyone. Just give yourselves a name and tell us where you are located, email address is optional.

I would really appreciate it and thank you.

just noticed that we can get the count of how many registered users and how many "guests" are on the board at any time from the main page... i was very surprised at how many guests are out there- also dont understand why anyone would be a guest.. so easy to register. please register and ask your questions- we are happy to answer!!

Anyone that opens a new browser session and browses to S2000Online will be a "Guest" until they actually post something.

This is something that I noticed last night, it showed me as browsing in one browser session, even though I had posted earlier in a different browser session.

It seems like UBB should look for it's cookie as soon as it hits the main page, but it doesn't appear to look for it until you open up a dialog that requires your username and password.

Yes true, UBB isn't very good with its cookies. I'm going to try and fix that. But it is true there are quite a few guests perhaps 25-40% based on the web logs. 380 members but we are visited by approx. 1200 machines per day. So there are either a lot of dynamic IPs or there is a small percentage that browse but don't register.

For those that fit into the later catagory I would strongly encourage you to register. There is a lot you are missing.

If you are a lurker and would like to come out of the closet (by this I mean register and nothing else), you can introduce yourself here. Or I guess you could always just register and not post until you see fit.

If I sponsor the board, do I get to post a picture of the flying pig at the bottom with all the sponsors?
