I doubt that your father was really serious... If he's worrying about splitting the cost of tickets when the entry fee is $50,000.

That's like saying....

"Hey, let's take a trip to the space station when it's open to everyone in a few years, it's onlt $75,000 to go, but you have to split to plane ticket with me to Cape Canavral.

^ I come from a very well off family. We have a family calibration lab to help with the entry fee... I was reading about it and they said it was 47 large for the first time and the second, third, and soforth is 20 grand. But I am sure that if anyone wanted to go, corporate sponcers would be the best way to get some money for entrance fees. I didnt say split entry fee... Split speeding tickets and gas. I swear, I am going on this one day... . And yes, i think someone did die and called off the 2007 run.

Sounds like it would be to you too:

Thats for me, my friend. I dont have too much money and not the source to make enough for the run. I am not going to argue the point that, I am going on the GB3000 some day.

Funny, a girl in my office building who owns an engineering firm asked me if I wanted to do this with him. I asked what car and he was thinking my S It's an interesting proposition, but not without dropping 15-20K into my car first to make it worthy.

Time for one of the 50/50 customers to step up and get on it
