50/50 looks suspicious when he got into it with other members, for a few months anyone question 50/50 was deem a hater, red flag he works out of his garage. Its damn shame people spend 16k so easy without question and back up claims.

no one saying a bad installer = cracked manifold, just.. NEW and used manifolds are 2 diffrent things, also, you cannot sue or anything if its out of his garage.. thats like telling a drug dealer he sucks.. u cant give it back to him.. BRIAN from 50/50 sells cars to .!! so watch it.. he buys auction vehicles, and re-sells, and I also have from past expeience, known of a buyer that paid in cash and could not receive the title, this was in transit as he was fired at the dealership, and he told the person buying the vehicle that PROCTOR acura had the title, so now.. he gots money.. they have a car, no title.. i guess if your stupid enough to pay for a car with no title its nobodys fault..just beware

from reading this thread, i take it that the 50/50 part is 50% of the time you get 50% of what you pay for?

The turbo manifold has nothing to with him. Blame the fabricator.
Ever heard of SSAutochrome? If the installer uses shitty parts (or used, shitty parts) that would do it.

I bought a SS Exhaust Manifold for my turbo 240sx... After reading so many countless threads on them on zilvia.net and freshalloy I made the jump to buy the manifold. 2 years I had the exhaust on with countless beatings and daily driven it has never cracked on me. I sold my car and still after discovering it was forsale just the beginning of this year it still had the same exhaust manifold with no cracks. Thats 4 years of it going strong. And my turbo was a lot heavier than 90% of the turbo's that were on the 240's back then, I had the big T28 while everyone had a T25. Huge difference in weight and mine never cracked.

But go ahead and talk to my friend that put on a HKS manifold and it cracked after a year and half of use.

So yeah I hate when people bring up shit like this. It doesn't matter the brand or maker, every once in awhile your going to get a awesome product and others your not. Deal with it

This forum is a great way to "deal with it"! But you really are comparing apples to oranges here...you know the 240 is not an s2000...heck it's not even a Honda!

when did I ever say it was a S2000?

All i'm saying is that you run the risk of getting a crappy product where ever you get it from.

240 manifold has nothing to do with an S2000 manifold...like i said, apples and oranges...and if i ever get a crappy product from a vendor, i would definitely not keep quiet about it...
