yes 4300k give out the most lumen, and i wouldnt call it downgrading, the amount of light the 12000k give off is not much less then the 4300k and the color they will produce will be far more attractive then the stock 4300k

I will highly suggest 5000-6000k anything over it, the colour of the 12000k will be too bluish and it will look cheap.

But the characters on Initial D have uber blue headlights. Just look how fast their cars are.

Aight.... Jack up your car, take off the wheel, take off the wheel well protector clips and peel it away, you'll see where the light needs to be (is that called the ballast?). This requires a tamper proof hex or you can do what I did and just use a vice or pliers to slowly undo the screw that holds the seal on. After you take the screw out the lid (seal) it will twist off and the bulb can be swapped.

Bulb temps look diff with brand too.

I have replied in the other thread you made in "Technical", which was the wrong forum to put it in as is this one also the wrong one for how to change the bulb.

PS. In future, there is no need to post multiple threads on the same subject.

Make sure you disconnect the battery. Good luck!
