Default Had TSB done and Still 1-2 Grind

I have had the TSB done twice. In hot weather, after the tranny is warmed up. I get a grind from 1===>2 at 8k+ Revs. I have owned this car for almost 2 years and have 20K miles. I have read as many posts on the grind as I can. I have also read woodworks post. I would call this a classic grind. What I am wondering, before I continue my discussion with Honda on transmission longevity is, am I alone???? Have you had the TSB done and do you still get the grind.????

What! They did TSB twice and AHM didn't audit the job at all. My local dealership refuse to do the TSB the second time. They keep insisting that I abuse the car. and, AHM rep tell me that I can authorize the job, if they found it was my fault I have to shell out $2000 for the labor and parts. If not, TSB x 2.

Abuse of the car seems to be a common thread with Honda and warranty problems.

AHM is telling me thay won't try to fix it again because the grind is 'driver error'. I have been driving standard transmission cars for over thirty years and this is the first one I 'cannot operate'. Funny thing, my failure always happens from first to second when the transmission is hot.

This is bull and we need to find a way to keep the pressure on and get our cars fixed. Apparently there are many that do not grind.. all I want is one of those transmissions!

I had TSB 54 & 55 done in April. The grinding happens less often, but it still happens. The Grind can happen anytime, at any rpm, but is still most common on warm days after running for an hour or more. I do NOT abuse the car in any way (other than using it as a daily commuter car in the Chicago area!).

If I concentrate entirely on the shift, it almost never occurs... almost.
