haggerty car insurance
I have haggerty on my classic GTO that I have. Got a quote for the S and it was much cheaper then AMFAM who I currently insure it through but I chose not to use haggerty for this car. They don't want you to drive to work with the car, or use it that often really so it just wouldn't work for me. I would rather pay a little more and know that if something were to happen it will just be paid for without any hassles.
well i spoke and researched more about it. couple things that suck, and might make it impossible for me to go haggerty. i want to autocross the car, track the car, i run at the drag strip, i occasionaly drive the car to work, though not for work. and its modified a lot and they kinda frown on that for cars newer then 1986, which is retarded.
its annoying, i have the car insured with progressive for stated value, i just worry that they will give me shit if the car was a total loss. oh well, guess it stays with them for now.

I have a friend that had a 1996 (I think) Trans-Am. Insured for stated value, he totalled the car. He probably had over $10,000 in mods that the insurance company tried to dodge; "you need receipts for everything if you want it covered".
The dude had a receipt for EVERYTHING. Even if some guy down the road painted the underside of his hood, he had a receipt for it.
Long story short, if you want the car's mods to be covered, you'd better have the receipts.
