hamp oil filter

yeah that's pretty much my stance on it. if honda has a filter recommended for the S2000 and only for the S2000 (hence purpose built for the S2000) I dont know why you'd use anything else.

A few of us here tried the small Hamp filters and found them to bottom out before getting tight enough. I didn't want to risk it.

really? i haven't had that problem....remind me to bring one with me next time we all get together for you to try...see if it's your car or the batch of filters you had...I still have about 4-5 of them with no problems so far

I use the hamp filter aswell and have never had any problems. I have used both the larger ones and the smaller ones as I also bought a case from Speeding.

As far as how good they are HAMP is Honda After Market Parts and in a review they said the HAMP filter is just a JDM Honda oil filter, but it is a high quality filter.

i have been using the bigger hamp oil filters and now that i got the smaller ones.... i was wondering if you have noticed any difference.

according to Tim, efthimios, he has no problem... anyone else?

david1 and I both noticed this separately from each other. I know it wasn't just me. I bought a box of 10 and tried a few of them.

So we should just use the USDM S2 oil filters instead of the HAMP filters?
