Default Handling

I heard from a review that the S2000 oversteers and doesn't handle well. Is this true? I always valued it for its handling capabilities. Or were they just taking about wet weather?

I think a recent review described slight oversteer for the pre-04s and very slight understeer for 04-05. I'm no race car driver, but my 05 drives, steers, handles and looks like a thoroughbred.

Yea it handles like a pig, like an 85 Crown Victoria wagon to be exact. And it oversteers immediately upon turn in. In fact, you spend more time countersteering than steering.

I fear for my life everytime I get in mine. Just this morning when I started mine up I was immediately facing the other way. No warning whatsoever, car spun around just like that.

It's because of the mid-engine;it acts as a pivot !!!

Mine scares me, too, but I couldn't afford a front wheel drive car. I think I find myself going backward as often as forward. I hear Ralph Nader is mounting a recall campaign.

I hear that the ones they market in Japan don't have the electro-gyroscopic attitude reversers. Or maybe they're available as an option. I think that might make the car tolerable.
