Default hard gun case that fits in s2000 trunk

So i just picked up this ar15 and it didnt come with a gun case. And the one hard rifle case i have wont fit in the trunk!Any of you guys use the S2000 to go to the gun range and what do you use to transport it, short of mounting it to the trunk lid. Haha which isnt a bad idea now that i think about it. Lol any suggestions on brands and what nots?

Sorry if this is in the wrong section but couldnt decide where to put it...

I usually just lay mine in my passenger seat top down when I go to the range. Lol no but have you tried removing the spare wheel boot?

thats not a bad idea i would hate to lose the spare tire just in case. but the ar15 has a retractable stock so its not that long just cant find a good hard case thats short enough to fit in the trunk, yet long enough to hold the AR hmmmmmm

This one is 34" over all and should fit comfortably in the trunk or front seat.

I have a pair of Lee Enfields I take to the range, and I usually just put my backpack in the recess in the trunk, and lay the rifles across. I couldn't imagine any gun cases out there fitting in the recess though unless the gun was disassembled.

Convert windscreen into a rifle rack, + more stability at high speeds?!

thats not a bad option. but i would prefer a fully hard case... not that i think about it more i might try to rid up something to mount and lock it to the trunk lid... simply because that would be just BAD ASS! lol no but just trying to see my options. and the passenger seat is out because i usually have either my girl or a buddy in the seat...

Hahahaha no no no. You got it backwards. On the underside of the trunk lid. So it would be in the trunk! Haha
