So I'm guessing that you received my hardtop today. I was actually going to contact you today to find out the status.

It came in Friday evening and went out about an hour later. I just emailed the tracking info on it to you. They show that it should be delivered today!

Thanks!

I just called the tracking services and they said I had to set up an appointment. It's in their service bay, but the guy who does the route already left. So I setup an appt. tomorrow from 11-12 to receive it.

Trevor: These instructions are applicable to the MY2001. I understand there are a few other things you have to do for the MY2000. Do you have those instructions too, or are you still waiting to receive them from Honda? Thanks.

It should be the same instructions for 2000 with the exception of VINs below 5730 Those will need the additional kit and they won't have those available until mid-April at the soonest.

I was always kind of 50-50 on whether or not I wanted the hardtop since my S2000 won't see many winter days, but I ordered one anyway. However, after reading the instructions, I'm now convinced that I don't want one for sure. There's no way I want any dealer's shop doing that much interior disassembly (even the door sill and roll bar trim!) on my brand-new car!

All this tells me, I think, is that the hardtop installation on a 2001 model must be just about as difficult as it is on a 2000 model.

Stewart -

How long did it take you to install the hardtop? The installation looks like a pain in the butt. Any tips, warnings, or comments on the hardtop?
