Default Hard top will fit into the trunk?

Howdy,

I am new here. I've been doing quite a bit of research for my new car and so far the S2000 is in the lead. I do have this question however, but I feel I already know the answer.

Will the hard top fit into the trunk?

I did a few searches and came back with no matching threads.

Thanks in advance.

Nope, it's way too big for the trunk.

Yep, I assumed as much. I couldn't remember how big the trunk was, but I remember the shape, and thats why I thought there might be a chance.

Well this I don't like at all. I'd like a removable top that can be stored in the trunk...

If that feature is really important to you, the Mercedes SLK or the Lexus SC430 is the car for you.

I feel those cars are horribly hideous as well as overpriced.
