No...My top fits great...decreases the road noise and no leaks..

The dealer needs to readjust your brackets..

No problems with mine. Got it from Hardtopguy.

I keep it on november to march/april. Off for spring and summer. makes the car look so much better and great rear visibility 200% better than with the soft top up.

So far I don't have any leaks or squeeks. More wind noise above 70 mph.

No offense taken; I'm getting used to that response. I didn't buy the car because it's a convertible. I don't honestly care all that much for top down driving; too windy and loud. But I love the s2k.

What other car out there matches the driving experience of the s2k? Especially considering that I bought mine used. I couldn't afford a Z (haven't driven one, don't know if I like it, but it's the obvious choice for fixed top competition). I didn't like the interior of the TT and so never even drove one. Could have gone to a used Z3, but for the price it wasn't worth it. Used E36 M3...no warranty and the new one was already out, so I would've just been pissed that I'd settled.

Basically, regardless of the soft top, no other car comes close to the s2k for the price. I still love my car. I smile everytime I drive it.

The car is not TOO windy and too loud with the windows up imo (on the freeway).

However, hard tops do look nice. How much is the dealer charging you? You might want to buy it from hardtopguy.com instead unless you need to finance the h-t.

I love my HT, and I have no wind noise issues. As it was stated before, if you have wind noise problems get it back to the dealer and make them fix it. The brackets are not adjusted correctly.

I have mine on 3 to 5 times a year, but that is how many times I go to school...

samjabori, if you have the money go for it. The HT is outstanding quality and makes the S2000 seem like two completely different cars!

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to stop my hardtop squeaking. My husband has put the top on my car now the weather has turned, but its driving me mad. I have lubricated the seals as recommended but this has made no difference. At this rate I'm going to be deaf, as I have to turn the music up to hide it.

Please help before I go mad.

The black trim that the top rests on (around the soft top well) has to be lubricated. Try re-lubing everything first. If that doesn't work then it has to be an adjustment issue.

The hardtops are easy to adjust as long as you don't loosen all the adjustment bolts at once. Fit pitch, yaw and roll one at a time.
