Default Hardtop ?

Hello everyone. Its been about a month since i got my s2 and up to now I love it!!! I needed to know how much does the oem hardtop weigh. I've searched and people say its around 40 to 44 lbs. But on EBAY they have the complet oem hardtop as well and next to weight it says 110lbs. I'm confused. Due to this im lookin more into the fiberglass or c/f ones but they are way too expensive but might go that route. Also do the fiberglass/carbon fiber ones go on good like an oem one would or is it need modification?? Also where can I find great deals on any sort of hardtop????Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

First of all, go to HardTopGuy.com if you have questions. He (Jeff) is very knowledgeable and will answer your questions. I have a hardtop for my '05 Suzuka and the '01 Silverstone that my (ex-to-be) husband has, and they are fine additions, when the weather sucks. Haven't had the tops in 2 years though, since we live in So. Cal.

Hardtopguy.com (Jeff) sometimes gets his hands on used ones and can give you a break. Try him.
