I believe those tops from Ganley Honda are $2000 ($2,400 Suzuka & Sebring) if picked up at the dealer and $2,300 ($2,700 Suzuka & Sebring) if shipped out. I think that promo is running till month end so you should call quickly. I wouldn't be surprised if they extended that for a few more sales though.

Install price sounds like $150 - 200 depending on the dealer.

i think the only reason to remove the windshield tape is BECAUSE you have a hardtop. i like the way it ties the top to the hood. i did it the weekend after i got my hardtop. the ragtop looks better with the tape on, but i either have the top down or the hard top on and prefer the spa column in either state.

however, this is just mho.

Maybe I can use Ganely for leverage here in NYC with one of our local dealers.

My next point of question comes after I buy this thing. Take off the tape or no? Since there is no way to put it back on, I'm very unsure on this one...

turbo_pwr...my bad, corrected my statement.

Ajjra, why not. I'd say give that a shot as they'll make money on the install. You may have to pay sales tax tho which would bump up your cost.

TKG 26, I like the 16" wheels. I tricked out my CRX-Si to a point where it was no longer comfortable to drive on the street, I will not do that to the S2000.

I've got a question about ordering the hardtop. Can you get the hardtop with the car? My dealer said that they had to wait to order the hardtop until the car came in??? They said something about matching the color with the correct paint number but this seems like something that could have been done while the car was being made?

Anyway, I had to wait 90 days for my top to come in and since my dealer is about an hour away I have to leave my car up there for a whole day while they install. What a PITA! Has anyone been able to get their hardtop with the car and have it installed before they even pick it up?

but, was there a time lag from when the dealer rec'd your car and when they rec'd the hardtop??

i.e. did your car arrive at the dealership, say on monday, and the hardtop arrived at some later date??

there must be....as they don't ship cars with the hardtop on (damage during shipping concerns)
