Is the hardtop creaking or squeaking? Shin-etsu will help with squeaking (rubber noise on paint) but I had to bolt the hardtop down without pushing on it to stop the creaking.

 

I don't really know the difference between creaking an squeaking but I do know it makes noise when I go over an uneven surface.

I'm guessing that cracking would be alarmingly loud. I think he's just having the top squeak on the body.

 

Just get this ( http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1...1#.UHn5jPl24kc ) and put it on the car from where the window starts then around the back of the car to the other side where the window starts. I just did it to my mugen rep HT last weekend. There was light coming through and squeaking. Now none of those are present.
