It is Model Year, not Calendar Year. So the summer of 2000 is near the end of Model year 2000.

AHM made that call. There were too many SPA hardtops so they added them to the cars in your country. This is the same reason that HardTopGuy sells the SPA hardtops cheaper then all others.
