Default Hardtop! Mugen FRP? OEM?

Hi all,

i've actually posted this question at the pacificnorthwest but thought it's better to know others' opinion as well...
Between a Mugen FRP hardtop and an OEM yellow hardtop, which one would you get if you owned a spa yellow s2k?
i definitely like the shape of the Mugen hardtop better, but the OEM one is only $2,000 and is painted.
Well, I'm not going to paint it even if i get the Mugen FRP... but anyways, what do you think i should get?

thanks,
Keith

p.s- how long did it take to receive it if any of you has ever ordered one from Kingsports or Hardtopguy? thanks

I've thought about the FRP Mugen Hardtop, but think if you're going Mugen, go all out and get the CF one. So, basically if you aren't made of money, go with the OEM.

the mugen FRP hardtop comes primered. therefore you will need paint. if you want to save money just paint the outside and keep the inside as is. the inside is black gel coated or black with a littler shine in it.

there are small scatches inside so i painted the entire hardtop.

mine arrived in about 3 months.

i took some pics when my hardtop came. i will post pics later cause the photo album is not working right now.

if your car looks stock/almost stock, get the oem. if your car is fully modified, i think the mugen fits better.

in any case for me, oem>mugen

oem just looks cleaner.
