This is like the question which is better - AP1 or AP2...

Here are a few of my pics, you can figure out what I believe is best.

This pic taken just 1 hour after owning my S2000, I took delivery with the HT on.

Just a quick nothing special shot of my parking space at work, it's funny to see these old pics with the car on the silver wheels..

The very 1st HT I ever saw, this was at the 2001 Toronto Auto Show.

Car looks better witht he black and silver wheels as far as I'm concerned.

An interuption, this massive custom rollbar is what hides under my HT.

I got my HT because of track driving, that was my number one reason for getting it.

Hanging at the track with the S's buddy the Spa NSX.

For me this is what it's all about. I prefer aluminum over fiberglass, I ike the big back window so I can get out of the track garage with a helmet on without backing up blind, I love the fact that the rear window has a defrost unit in it, and as far as I'm concerned, the OEM HT makes the car look like a coupe, the Mugen style HT makes the car look like a convertible with a HT added onto it.

Enjoy the pics

Oh, and I forgot about the one below in my sig, my Spa loves going to the track behind the Big Red Beast

OEM - better visibility, lined/finished, comes with all hardware attached and windows sealed, cheaper.

Mugen - looks cool, blind spots, unfinished, not complete when you buy it (some assembly required), more expensive.

Are you a form over function kinda guy, or function over form????

The Mugen hardtop is lighter and will turn heads like crazy. Can't say the same for OEM since it makes the car look like a Miata.

Mugen creates downforce, is lighter and looks more exotic (even more so in CF).

Oem has defroster, no blind spot and still looks great IMO (I like it better in 2-tone so it does not look Miata-ish, well at least to me )

OEM FTW!!!

OEM can look good IMO but your car needs to have the proper stance.

Hey, the Mugen still has more visibility than the Softtop!

FTW!
