Default Hardtop Opinions Pro and Con

Is the hardtop a desireable accessory? Does the paint really match?

I love my HT. I wasn't so enthralled by the convertible aspect of the car, so it's a perfect addition for me. Definitely worth it IMO.

The S2000 hardtops are made and painted alongside S2ks themselves so the color matching is perfect.

Pro:

Con:
....not much exept it adds 44 pounds to the weight.
Hey it could be a good reason to go on a diet.

You live in Arizona. Unless you like the different "look" that the HT gives the car, I don't see any logical reason to spend that kind of money. The other "con" is you need a place to store it when not in use and you need either 2 people to handle it or a hoist to do it single handedly.
Another possible "pro" would be security if you park the car outside unattended on a regular basis. I suppose it does cut down on the noise a bit if you travel the highways a great deal.

Well Dave if he lives in Arizona he may want the hardtop so the air conditioner works more effectively...

The HT color match is perfect. My HT matches my car better than my outside rearview mirrors match my car.

The HT is a bit of money, but they are worth every penny to me. I love the look and I love the ability to own two cars for about the price of one.

A hoist in the garage is a simple enough of a thing, as well as a stand and you have a friend come over for a beer, it only takes about two minutes if you are not in a hurry.

I just bought a house this year so I have not had a chance to do the hoist. I put this stand together in a half day for about $30.

It's been so dang cold around here the last month and with snow up the ying yang, A/C was the last thing on my mind. I'd welcome a bit of Arizona heat right about now.

Intersting HT holder. If you live where there are extremes a HT would be something to consider.
