Hardtop owners help me
go to your dealership and ask for shi-etsu grease. The seals on the hardtop dry out and rub both on the rear deck and where the HT meets the windshield frame. Just put some of the grease on both seals, and you will be fine. If you do on the rear seal, you will have a grease mark on the rear deck, but it will come off when you wash the car, so dont be worried about that. Just make sure the area is waxed well.
Also you might want to check the adjustment of the rear hold downs. The shop manual and the installation instructions give the tolerance for the space between the top trim and the body. If this gap is too large the top may not be tight enough. It can be tightened by loosening and adjusting the bolts that hold the clamp to the top itself. These are behind the pilar cover.
If you need the instructions, your honda dealer has them and also H & A accessories has them on line. The diagram of this measurement is much clearer in the shop manual though.
