Get your money back and shop around to see if anyone might have one in stock. Six months is a long time, a lot of things can happen during this time. Make sure you get the Msrp of the Hardtop.

Purchased MY04 GPW+ hardtop a few months ago from dealership. My salesperson told me it would be a while before my top came in also, but only ended up being maybe a month or so. He also made it seem like it was a big deal finding them. IDK though, maybe i was lucky.

Just recieved a call from American Honda in response to the wait time I was told by my dealer for a hardtop. They said that there was a problem with production of hardtops at the Plant and that it would take 6 months to recieve.

Honda does not stockpile H/T's. It is a minimum 180 day turnaround from the time you order and the time it arrives from Japan. They are very much build to order pieces, obviously there have been exceptions such as HardtopGuys' blowout on Spa tops where that color was readily available. They are such nice units and change the whole dynamic of the S. The unknowing simply assume it's a fixed roof coupe with the H/T on. My Hardtop has spent more time on then off.

In my case it looks like I'll spend more time waiting for it than using it.

When I bought my hardtop, I found that some colors (Red, Yellow) were overstocked, and the rest were not.
I hope this still holds true if I end up buying a '05 Red, because I will want to get a hard top also........and hopefully not have to wait .

I have a Sebring Silver hardtop in very, very good condition. OEM of course.

Anyone interested in buying it? Am in Illinois. PM with offers...

Also have new Blizzaks LM-22s on OEM 16" if you're looking for the whole winter package....

'Cause I just bought a sweeet winter beater. I'll post pics soon.
