Anyone here repaint their hardtop? If so, are there any things to watch out for? I'm thinking about purchasing a used top, but would have to repaint it Silverstone. Would it be better to get a Silverstone top to begin with?

 

If the deal is sweet, do it. But be aware that silverstone is not an easy color match. Many have considered a black HT on a silverstone car would look pretty decent. You might want to think about that.

 

Thanks for the reply! Yes the used top is black. But I wouldn't want to keep it black for too long. While it doesn't look all too bad, I prefer to repaint asap. It'll look much cleaner color matched.

 

One of the Ohio guys just painted his HT GPW. It was Suzuka.
