I've got a '03 CF OEM-style spoiler. It looks pretty good on silverstone. Mine ties into a CF OEM-style spoiler though. I wouldn't do it if there wasn't something else black or cf to tie into.

Sure you can do it. Make sure you clean your wing really well, and then just slap the flat black on. Then, get prepared to answer a million questions about why you made your wing look completely silly.

Honestly, spend the money on a 12 pack of beer and put the rest in the bank.
It will look like an odl Plymouth Duster, from the 70's.!!!

I wouldn't do it in flat black. Do it in a regular black with clearcoat like Berlina. Flat would look unfinished on a car that is already painted. You either go completely flat or not at all.

guys, guys, it's called "suede"

BTW, if you rattle can it, you'll just look like another ricer out there with enough money to buy the body kit and the accessories, but not enough to get it painted. Unless you have some extensive flat black accents on your car already, I'd pass and either paint it to match or not get one at all.

If you're going to paint the spoiler (i'm not sure from your description if you are interested in the oem spoiler(ap1) or the oem wing(ap2)) flat black then I would just go with a CF one. I think they still have a group buy going on for these.
