A while ago while browsing the forums I saw a post by someone that had a CF bonnet with vents, it was sprayed silverstone to match the car but the vents were faded into the carbon underneath.

The car looked the nuts! It was someone that was in the UK but moved to the USA...

Anybody know who I'm talking about or where I can find pics of the car?

Very nice. I had originally wanted to do that with my TS hood, but the body shop said it would look like they ran out of paint and couldnt finish. I think it looks great. This is what I ended up with.

It was you that I'd seen. Cheers for the pics! I was trying to tell someone about it last night as I'm thinking about buying a carbon bonnet and we were discussing getting it sprayed, I mentioned I'd seen one done really well but couldn't find the post anywhere! Spent about 2 hours looking through my old posts!!!!

honestly, the fade on the paintwork is amazing in person - the bodyshop did it exactly how i explained it to them - and you only get one shot at it too!
