Default Has this ever happened to you?

I have a My01 and I now have 4k miles on it, I don't get to drive it as much as i want to because of the neighborhoods that i work in. "the ghetto" but I try to take it out at least once a week, maybe max of not able to drive it up to 3 weeks. anyways, I have noticed that this has done this several times, when I drive and somewat slow down and shift to neutral sometimes the car so seem to want to stall and then the ecu will compensate and bring the rpms back up i have noticed this maybe 3-4 times. Anybody seem to have this problem?

My S2000 is a second car, driven on weekends only, and I notice that as well, but it tends to only do this at a stop. It doesn't stall, the RPMS just go down to about 500 then back up to 1000. My first car, the only other Honda I have had, a Prelude, did the same thing.

I was told this is not a big deal. I'm gullible so I hope that is correct.

This has been talked about before. I drive mine everyday and this happens every once in a while. I don't believe it is anything to worry about.

same here, I get it randomly, usually when backing up with the clutch half engaged. I hope its nothing serious.

Finally someone brings this topic up. I thought it was just me. I have noticed that sometimes when I engage the clutch or come to a stop, it will start to putter a little like it is on the verge of stalling, then recovers.

You guys are lucky yours doesnt stall....cuz mine DOES! It feels like a CART car where u have to keep up your rpms so it doesn stall! LOL.....actually it just happens when i dont start the car for awhile...and only during the initial start.....I also have a TODA flywheel so maybe thats the problem?

yeah
this happens to my car too ...
i don't see it as a big deal.
i paid attention to my GT-S and i think it does the same thing ... (normal?)
i just think you pay more attention to this on S2K because of the digital tach ...
and my S2K doesn't stall that way ... (stall only due to driver mistake ... )

Mine does it at the same stop sign everyday on my way to work.As I leave my home I drive in 4th gear for about a mile and as I come up to the first stop sign I can feel it start to sputter as if she's gonna stall, but never does. After that it runs fine it's just that first stop after a cold start.
