I'm bored as hell, as you can tell. I was just wondering if the s2k has ever had the opposite sex asking you out? Gold diggers, ho's and anything else counts. LOL


And to answer my own question the s2k has not helped me get any dates, but IMO that's a good thing (and no i'm not ugly). I wouldn't want to have a serious relationship with someone that was attracted to my car aka wallet.

Chicks whistle at me all the time especially when the top is down. They're attracted to the car but they yell out you're hot to so I guess I don't look to bad. I wouldn't talk to them seriously though being that they are way into my car though.

 

Yes, I met my g/f at an S2000 meet. I know shes not in it for the car since she has one to.

 

I didn't buy my S2000 to impress women. I bought it because I wanted it and for no other reason. I've also got some history in my life that involved women who went "way" out of their way to show interest in a guy just because they liked his car. It's a long story and I won't go into it here but suffice to say, if I get any impression at all that she's interested in me because of my "car!," she'll be hitchhiking home!

All these dudes are LYING, why do we do what we do if not to get the attention of the opposite sex, whether its a peacocks plunage or the mane on a lion, we do all this bling shit to CATCH THE EYE of the ladies. So my advice is this, if you date a woman who only wants you for what you have.......THEN YOU BETTER KEEP ALL THAT SHIT YOU HAVE. don't be that dude who lost all his shit and his woman. Keep Pushing.

 

I'm 58 years old and have been happily married to the same woman for 35 years, and I absolutely did not buy the car to attract women. Roadsters always attract women, but that's never been my reason for driving them. That said, I have to believe that anyone who says that their S2000 doesn't attract the attention of the opposite sex either isn't paying attention or doesn't know what to look for.

 

I had a girl on campus come up to me and tell me how nice my car is. She took off her sunglasses and I quite frankly remember going out with her the year before and never calling her again because her breath stunk . So, it's not always a good thing for it to attract girls .

To be honest, I'd be more satisfied with the vehicle that I'm paying for if a person with a lot of knowledge came up to me and told me how much they like it. And no, I'm not going to say a "man" with a lot of knowledge...there are women on this board and I don't want to get in trouble.
