my A3, within a month of ownership, got brake fluid or some sort of paint stripper all over the front end. only time i ever thanked god for having insurance. had to repaint the hood, side panels, front bumper, and new headlights. overall cost was close to $4k.

nothing with the S so far. *fingerscrossed*

 

This stuff makes me so angry. I wish our society were tougher on scumbags who commit these cowardly acts of vandalism. I see it as a form of domestic terrorism. The punishment should be a kick in the nuts at the very least.

 

 

a Hater Keyed my trunk w/ about a 4 " deep gash 2 yrs ago..

 

i had a gyro wrapper on my hood and some gyro white sauce dripped out from it. f-ing haters. it washed off, but its the principle of it. it was in nyc one night after a bar.

I cannot justify why people would actually do these things to any car! Is it really jealousy? If it isn't, my guess is it was someone who knew you and probably didn't like you much.

 

Maybe it was local s2k guys that were hatin on the Suzuka blue paint...
