Alright, I love to drive with the top down and with a hat on. The problem is how fast can you go before you lose your hat? Nothing could be more embarrasing than driving by someone who is rubbernecking your car and then your hat flies off, to be driven over ruthlessly by a pickup truck and a chevette. Any tips would be appreciated, except glue, velcro, and staples,

Nick, you can ask our friend Mack who lost his favorite hat when Jason/Juliann and I went down to the Dragon with them. He liked it so much, he went back the next day and found it...of course, it was beyond repair, but still.

Yea, I just make sure it's just nice and snug, almost to the point of painful, but not quite. The hats I have I would hate to lose...but hats are an essential part of top down motoring!

I had to have a moment of silence there in memoriam.

I'm all better now.

I'd say mine blew off at about 80 or so trying to keep up mith Greg and Jason on the way to the Dragon! To me whats even more embarassing is having to drive the rest of your trip with "hathead". Thank goodness Jason had a spare that day!

Anyway Jullian mentioned something about a tether they make for skiing that clips to the hat and your clothing so if you do loose it it won't go far.

I'd say mine blew off at about 80 or so trying to keep up with Greg and Jason on the way to the Dragon!

Mine hasn't yet. 110 Mph, top down. 7/8 aeroscreen really helps.

You guys wear hats? I like the feeling of my hair blowing all over the place. Of course, I've paid a couple of times with annoying sunburns.

Mack, you almost made me pee my pants! That's a funny story. I never wear a hat. I love the sun and the air blowing around. One change I did have to make, though, was to cut my hair REALLY short so that I didn't have to comb it every time I got out. What a hassle! (But I guess it beats the alternative, right S2000 Driver?)
