unfortunately, my new cf trunk fitment is pretty bad.. and it pops bak up WAY too fast.. so i want to remove the springs..

THE SEARCH IS DOWN!!

can anybody help me??

try HondA accesories. They have Honda directions. There is a $28 special tool required to switch them out. I have not done the job yet and have no idea if the tool is required, but I got one any way. As I look at it I see how it could provide a lot of additional leverage.

Using the Honda tool is the [p]proper[/i] means by which to remove the springs, however there are some other ways.

One way someone suggested was to bend the tabs which hold the springs in place, and then slide the springs off (this should make sense if you go look at how the springs are secured to the car).

Just be careful. It may not seem like it, but those springs are under a good bit of tension.

I'm not sure if you read our posts, but me and another guy swapped trunks and springs... It wasn't too difficult... Like they said, HandA Accessories has a tool for 26 bucks . Don't get it. You can pull the springs off by muscling it (sp?) To put them back on, take a screw driver and place it between the hook part and twist it in to place.... Got it?

just pull the springs straight out??
