Recently, I went to hongkong and picked up a magazine called 'Top Mission'. I picked it up only because it said RS200 ? S2000. Hoped to find many S2000 pictures but there were only TWO... Anyway the featured S2000 was TYPE-V and only think I see different is Steering wheel from these TWO pictures. Does anyone have other information on type-V?

For anyone who's Japanese is not quite up to par, you can use the translator at http://world.altavista.com/.

Here is the main text from the first page of the honda link above translated (it's a computerized translator so no "all your base" jokes):

"The S2000 originally pursuing formula car feeling such as the cockpit design which centers digital meter, quick including the handling response, and the steering wheel which has the axis of rotation on the center is the real sport car which is born. The typeV of this each time, under the will that development the development staff who produces the S2000, " furthermore pursues formula car feeling ". In order to utilize the handling of the high response which exceeds the current S2000, being to devise the worldwide first steering wheel mechanism, VGS, it does.
Because, when the steering gear the high response is replaced to the thing simply, handling of the high-speed travelling time becomes sensitive. It is compatible the high response of formula car feeling and the stability of the high-speed travelling time, while travelling the mechanism which automatically changes steering gear ratio by any means was necessary. If it is necessary, it makes. That will quite of simple development of HONDA. Variable Gear ratio Steering: Being to be the technology which the HONDA passion which makes the enjoyment which is worked important produces because of the S2000 it does the vehicle speed application/response dynamic variable gear ratio steering wheel = VGS. The S2000 typeV, with loading the worldwide first VGS, the damper and the stabilizer, to set the LSD in exclusive use, operation stability improvement. Furthermore feeling at rest, have tried to be able to enjoy everyone handling of the high response which got near to the formula car. Placing the enjoyment of the running where the real sport car is new, the S2000 typeV which debuts. Please observe to the new challenge of the S2000 which leads/reads times"

The Type V was announced over a year ago. If you want to read the press release in English I would suggest world.honda.com. I refer to that site often.
